UC Green

Trees make great neighbors.

3000+ TREES PLANTED AND COUNTING

We’re Hiring!

UC Green is a community-rooted nonprofit that has been strengthening neighborhoods in West and Southwest Philadelphia since 1998. With a legacy of planting more than 5,000 trees, we bring neighbors together to create greener, healthier blocks while fostering social connection and civic pride. Through hands-on tree planting, environmental education, and local partnerships, we empower residents to care for their environment and each other—one tree, one block, one neighborhood at a time.

At UC Green, we’re committed to building a team that reflects the diversity and strengths of the communities we serve. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and especially encourage those with personal or professional ties to West and Southwest Philadelphia to apply. Please share in your cover letter how your experiences—whether in work, life, or community—connect to the role and our mission, if applicable.
